"Getting under the hood": REGIONAL NETWORK LITERACY SERVICE PLANNING
Dear Members: I am starting to "get under the hood" of the annual planning, and am grateful for your perspectives, assistance and support. One of the things that I have recently learned is that some regions start their planning by referring to the templates that were used the previous year.
To this end, I would like to share the info, links and files from this slow-loading website, so that you have easy access.

Regional Network Literacy Service Planning:
The Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development is providing Regional Networks with reports reflecting Literacy and Basic Skills program learner activity data. The reports are based on 2016-2017 data and will help to inform the LBS service delivery network regarding the delivery of services in communities across Ontario.
These reports will represent communities across the province and will be identified by Consolidated Municipal Service Manager (CMSM) catchment areas. In addition, service delivery reports will also be available, based on learner stream, service delivery sector, the four regions of the province, and a provincial report.
The information provided in the reports, along with the intelligence of local community partners, will allow for analysis of trends and gaps in order to promote a coordinated approach to service delivery. The LBS CMSM data reports will be complemented by a Literacy Service Plan template, which will be completed by each LBS Regional Network.
These reports will assist the Regional Networks in the Literacy Service Planning and Coordination activity. The completed Literacy Service Plan narrative template along with the reports will inform Business Planning for 2017-2018. (edited)
