E-mail to MTML: Hi, My name is Schuyler and I've been volunteering at a summer writing program. One of the girls in my group, Jenna, found your page (This one: http://mtml.ca/resources/literacy-links/) while doing some extra research for one of our projects. I just wanted to let you know that your information has been a big help not only to her and her project, but to our entire group! Thanks so much :slightly_smiling_face: During her research, she came across an article that was very helpful to her: https://www.cirrusinsight.com/writing-grammar-fun-for-students and she was wondering if you would mind adding it to your page when you have the time. She learned about being a good Digital Citizen in school recently so she felt it was important to pass along her research to other people on the Internet and she would be so happy to hear if you found her research helpful. Let me know what you think and if you have any other resources for us to check out! Have a great day, Schuyler

Does anyone know of a skills inventory/checklist for learning how to use a smartphone? I have something for computers but nothing for smart phone use, specifically.

9:06am File… Last year Ashley developed basic digital literacy curriculum, Including smartphone use, as part of a “reverse mentoring” program in which young people with strong digital literacy skills mentored others. All of the materials related to the project, including the curriculum are posted at http://www.literacylinkniagara.ca/about-us/projects/

Ten Years On... just came across this interesting project from researchers including @Mary B and Michele K colleague of @Shanchoy 's: "From September 2007 until July 2008, nine adult literacy workers in Toronto met each month to reflect on our practice and ourselves as practitioners through the lens of story. We were particularly interested in how practitioners hear and understand learners and each other across multiple social differences. We wanted to explore how these dynamics either support or stifle learning. " http://www.greedymouse.ca/festival/story.htm (edited)
