replied to a thread:
Agenda item?  Suggestion to me from Debera at Quill:  re: Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) Improvement and Expansion & Working Table on the Modes of Delivery and Program Reach
"....These are the tables set up by MAESD and you had to apply to sit on them last fall before you ever came to MTML. You can find all the information about these working tables here, http://www.tcu.gov.on.ca/eng/eopg/programs/lbs_updates.html - the information was posted on March 2.
I am sure that there will be good representation from MTML's region on the working tables, so it is something you can stay abreast of and feed information to the networks, support orgs and the programs in your area.
When you see who is on each table, ask anyone from the MTML region to give updates at your Literacy Service Planning and Coordination (LSPC) table, or when you pull practitioners together. MAESD wants to be ensure that the voice of LBS is brought to the tables, so don't be shy to ask questions and express your viewpoint.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to put our facebook page out there: www.facebook.com/MTMLiteracy . The office team and I have been trying to be more active on social media. If you do follow the page, you can help us out by "liking" our posts as soon as you see them -- this increases our reach and helps us engage the adult literacy community! Happy Monday (if you are reading this on Monday)!
